1. Occupational Therapist (OT)

Job Summary:
A registered professional who provides coordinated care to patients of all age groups. Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans to restore or maintain patient wellbeing. Evaluates occupational roles and occupational performance of patients with physical, psycho-social and/or cognitive impairments. Provides intervention to deficits and elicits responses. Collaborates with interdisciplinary team.

Job Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Licensure: Current Texas State License as an Occupational Therapist, current Texas Driver’s License
  • Experience: Two years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting.
  • Skills: Therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice. Good interpersonal skills. Knowledge of durable medical equipment.
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation and valid and current auto liability insurance
  • Other: Proof of current CPR, Hepatitis profile, TB Test ability
Environmental and Working Conditions:
Works in a patient’s home; ability to travel locally.

Physical Effort:
Ability to do heavy lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, and standing. Prolonged standing and walking required. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

2. Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA)

Job Summary:
A Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant provides coordinated occupational therapy to patients of all age groups under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

Job Qualifications:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy assistant with an Associate Degree in Occupational therapy.
  • Licensure: Current Texas State License to practice occupational therapy.
  • Experience: One year experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy assistant.
  • Skills: Therapy skills as set forth in the Therapy Practice Act and other regulatory agencies. Good interpersonal skills.
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and current auto liability insurance
  • Other: Proof of current CPR, and Hepatitis profile; ability to work flexible schedule
Environmental and Working Conditions: Works in patient’s home; Proof of current CPR, and Hepatitis profile; ability to work flexible schedule; ability to travel locally some exposure to unpleasant weather.

3. Physical Therapist (PT)

Job Summary:
A registered professional who provides coordinated care to patients of all age groups. Plans, implements and evaluates patient care plans to restore or maintain patient well being. Plans, organizes and conducts physical therapy treatment program based on the medical referral and their evaluation. Collaborates with interdisciplinary team.

Job Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association approved program.
  • Licensure: Current Texas State License as a Physical Therapist, current Texas Drivers License
  • Experience: Two years experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting.
  • Skills: Therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice. Good interpersonal skills. Knowledge of durable medical equipment.

  • Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university
  • Licensure: Current Texas State License in Speech-Language Pathology, Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language Hearing Association, current Texas Driver’s License
  • Experience: Two years’ experience in an acute care or rehabilitation setting, home health preferred.
  • Skills: Therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice. Good interpersonal skills.
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation and valid and current auto liability insurance
  • Other: Proof of current CPR and Hepatitis profile; ability to work flexible schedule; ability to travel locally.

6. Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Job Summary:
